Birds continue to lose natural habitat due the encroachment of man and as a result, are now competing for food so it can be hard for them to find enough to eat in the coldest months of the year. By helping out with a well stocked bird feeder, we can contribute to maintaining bird populations. In fact, studies show that there is more successful breeding in spring following assisted winter bird feeding.
