Call for Nominations

2010 Board of Directors

LOWDPOA is now accepting nominations for the 2010 Board of Directors. (Deadline March 5).

We are especially interested in candidates with business, marketing, organizational management, accounting, legal and environmental science experience. We also seek a broad geographical representation of our membership base. The primary qualification is a strong interest in the Lake of the Woods area and a willingness to represent the interests of our members.

Deadline for nominations is March 5, 2010, but we are accepting nominations throughout the year to fill a current vacancy of the existing Board.

Our extended deadline is April 5, but in that case, nominations must be accompanied by the signatures of 10 supporting members.

Prerequisites:

• Nominee must be a 2010 member in good standing of LOWDPOA
• The nominee must accept the nomination
• Name, email address and telephone number of the nominator must be included
• The nominee must provide a brief written outline of their expertise, experience, location of property and areas of interest to the Nominating Committee
