4th Annual
International Lake of the Woods
Water Quality Forum
 The
Lake of the Woods Water Sustainability Foundation is the lead
agency for this technical conference to be held March 7-8,
2007 in International Falls, Minnesota. This conference is
the primary scientific symposium for researchers and resource
managers working on the Lake of the Woods and Rainy River
Basin.
Over the past three years, this conference has contributed
substantially to building a critical mass of scientific
interest in the Lake of the Woods. We expect over 90
scientists from Canada and the USA to attend this coming year.
This year’s conference is being sponsored by a consortium of
agencies, including the Lake of the Woods Water Sustainability
Foundation, Rainy River Basin Water Resources Center, Lake of
the Woods District Property Owners Association, North American
Lake Management Society, Rainy River Community College,
Ontario Ministry of the Environment and the Minnesota
Pollution Control Agency.
