Vision, Mission & Values
Over the course of the past year, our Board of Directors has re-evaluated our goals and the underlying focus of LOWDPOA. With our membership reaching a total of 4000, the challenge was to create a living document that would satisfy the wide ranging concerns specific to such a broad audience and their locations throughout the region.
Our newly created Vision/Mission and Values statement was launched late in 2009 and will serve as our guide to decision making as we move ahead.
Vision
To preserve one of the most beautiful places on earth as a high quality environment for future generations to enjoy.
Mission
LOWDPOA will serve its members and the larger community by providing leadership, education and communication on issues affecting the Lake of the Woods region.
Core Values

We Believe… in maintaining a current understanding of best environmental practices through the experience and knowledge of our members and the counsel of experts.
